We are a dedicated gluten-free facility, home-based bakery licensed in Acton, MA.

We specialize in cakes, cupcakes, and cookies using all gluten free ingredients that are light, flavorful, and moist enough to please all our customers with or without food sensitives.

We operate out of a dedicated gluten free kitchen with dedicated equipment. We are well versed in accommodating a number of dietary needs or preferences and welcome all inquiries!

You don’t have to sacrifice quality when finding a cake that is accommodating of your dietary needs. All of our cakes, cookies, and accompaniments are gluten free, always. We have a variety of dairy free cake and buttercream options and can generally accommodate vegan requests.

Hi, I’m Lizz!

I’m the baker behind Huckleberry Bakes. As a granddaughter of a chef and with many talented cooks in the family, cooking and baking has been in my bones since birth. Ever since I can remember I have always had in my minds eye a vision for a life where cooking and baking for others in a professional way was possible.

I began formally cooking during college summers as a sous chef, working appetizers and desserts during service at a local restaurant. There's nothing that brings me more satisfaction than bringing someone’s favorite food or recipe to life and providing them with a full sensory experience they will always remember.

The tickling idea for Huckleberry Bakes began as a hobby Ice Cream Cake hustle to the benefit of my coworkers. My bakes evolved as I began sharing with friends and family. But it wasn’t until I had my two children and began baking for them that the concept of memorializing special celebrations for customers through the visual artistry and delightful tastes of cake became a goal.

With endless encouragement from my husband and inspiration from my two little muses, Huckleberry Bakes was born. At Huckleberry Bakes we treat each cake as a love note of sorts; the embodiment of the care, intention and thoughtfulness each client shows when choosing to order from us.
